Women's Department

The Pilgrim Womens department seeks to honour God through service to God and others.

The Pilgrim Women’s department seeks to bring women closer to God and fulfil their potential through fellowship, prayer, bible study and benevolence ministries.

The women’s department sets out to encourage women to have strong spiritual values and experience true loving fellowship. Our aim is for women to realise their God given potential and impact their families, church, the community and the world through love and the power of faith in Jesus Christ.

The women’s department is a great place for women to praise God and deepen their relationship in worship and service. The women take a large active role in the life of the church.  The Women’s department provides tremendous resource in terms of fellowship, organising and administration.

Other ministries lead by the women’s department are; home and hospital visits and flower arranging.

The women’s department has a strong tradition of leading worship in particular the singing and music ministry.

Coffee mornings, community gatherings, conferences and home visits are some of the events that the women’s department plan and host.

Where there’s food, there’s fellowship! The women are known for their exceptional culinary skills and have been involved in numerous projects providing catering for both local and community events.

The church celebrates mothers by having a special Mothering Sunday Service when every mother present receives flowers.

“ My vision is to see the women’s department active and go getting for the Lord – Women who are Christ centred”.
